A price without a date is not a price
Every fare on this site is shown with the day we saw it. That is not a disclaimer bolted onto the end. It is the only thing that makes the number mean anything at all.
Almost every site that publishes flight prices publishes them without saying when they were true. The number sits there, confident and undated, and the reader assumes it means now. Sometimes it does. Often it is weeks old, or it is an average of things that were never available at the same time, or it is a modelled estimate that nobody was ever offered.
None of those are lies exactly. They are just numbers that cannot be checked, which for practical purposes is the same thing.
If we cannot say the day we saw it, we do not publish it.

Every price carries its observation dateNot the date you are reading, the date we measured. If the two are far apart, you can see that for yourself and weigh it.

Stale data is withdrawn, not aged gracefullyA fare outside the freshness window does not fade to grey. It stops being publishable, and a page with nothing fresh to say stops existing.

Thin evidence is labelled thinA month priced on three dates and a month priced on thirty are not the same claim, and we do not present them as though they were.
This costs us pages. There are routes we would like to write about and cannot, because we have not measured them deeply enough to say anything true. That trade is deliberate, and it is the reason the numbers here are worth reading.
